Attaching License Meter Key

You must attach the license meter key while generating licenses using any of the methods described above.

Attaching a Parallel Port Key

1.Locate an available parallel port on your computer. The key can be attached to any parallel port on your computer, as the Sentinel System Driver automatically polls each port to locate the key.

2.Tighten the screws properly to make sure that all the pins are properly inserted.

Attaching a USB Port Key

1.Locate an available USB port on your computer.

2.Attach the key to the USB port. Make sure it is tightly connected. Look to see that the LED on the key is illuminated to verify whether the key has been plugged-in properly.
